The Ultimate Training Program for Child Development Professionals
Access Simple, Easy to Understand Resources In One Place
Empowering parents of young children to do the best they can to raise healthy children can be hard work.
Accessing simple, easy to understand resources in one place can take a ton of time to find.
Maybe you would agree?
That’s why we created the First3Years Membership Program.
It’s a training program designed to help you stay at the forefront of best practices in working with babies and toddlers, and their families.
We’ve curated the most important topics, developed by people like you—for you. Our trainings are presented by top early education experts from the field who know exactly the barriers you are dealing with.
The ideas have been tested and are based on the latest studies.
Introducing the First3Years Membership Program
This is a monthly program including webinar and online trainings to help you obtain your Infant Mental Health (IMH-E®) credential and connect you to seasoned mentors and advisors to deepen your expertise even further.
Once you experience this monthly training program you will have up-to-date research on key child development topics, gain insights from top experts across the country, plus gain CEU credits.
How The Membership Program Works
Each month, we bring you three webinars on a key child development topic.
The first two sessions offered are the same—just offered at different times in the month, so that attendees may attend at a time convenient for them. The third session is an expert session, where we bring in an expert from the field to delve deeper into the topic of the month for further understanding.
First3Years Membership also offers discounts to onsite training, guest experts, support through the IMH-E® credential process, and online courses through our partnership with Texas A&M AgrilLife Extension.
Membership also offers access to mentorship, Reflective Supervision, and peer networking and support.

Don’t Take Our Word For It
“When the content is unique, rich, and enlightening, the cost is so low and access is so easy, I don’t know what obstacles there would be to using First3Years services. The feature I like most is the laser-like focus on babies and toddlers and their families, and persistent advocacy for equity for all families. I enjoyed the member benefits of connecting to colleagues I didn’t know, the opportunity to earn a credential, and exposure to exciting, important research and researchers. When asked if I would recommend our service, I would say oh absolutely. Not only for those who are fully enmeshed in working in this arena, but maybe especially for those who don’t know what they don’t know. I met a kindergarten teacher just this morning and we had a discussion about early development; she said, ‘I need to know this! Schools are so focused on academics, even in kindergarten, and I have not been prepared for the social and emotional needs of the children. So many of them come to kindergarten without being developmentally on target.’ First3Years would be so beneficial for teachers of children from Pre-K to third grade.”
-Sandra Lamm, Early Learning Alliance Coordinator
“Membership in First3Years is something all early childhood professionals should consider. The organization provides high-quality professional development opportunities applicable to practitioners working in a variety of early care settings, including webinars and seminar series, all at an extremely affordable membership rate. Membership in First3Years was a no-brainer for me and my colleagues because it integrated seamlessly into our work with infants, toddlers and infant-toddler practitioners. Additionally, the collaboration and advocacy work First3Years does was of extreme interest and value to me as an early childhood advocate who is interested in moving the profession forward.”
-Aaron A. Carrara, Vice President, Center In Houston For Infant Learning and Development
“What is most rewarding about my involvement in First3Years? We are helping others understand the complexities and abilities of infants and toddlers. It is knowing that we are impacting our community to promote a nurturing society.”
-Patricia Sanchez, MA, LPC
