For endorsees to keep their names on the Endorsement Registry and maintain usage of the IMH-E designation, First3Years requires that they complete and document a minimum of 15 clock hours per year of relationship-based education and training pertaining to the promotion of social-emotional development and/or practice of infant mental health (e.g. regional training, related coursework at colleges or universities, infant mental health conference attendance.) Along with the 15 training hours, endorsees are required to keep their First3Years membership up to date.
First3Years is moving toward accepting all annual Endorsement® renewals online via the Endorsement Application System (EASy). EASy is a confidential, web-based system where all components of the Endorsement process are completed. Since First3Years began endorsing professionals in 2009, we required annual renewal hours to be documented on either paper forms or through the NEON system. As of 2021, we will no longer be using the e-form for renewal purposes. If you submitted your Endorsement application through the EASy system, you will return there to submit your renewal hours. If you submitted your Endorsement application through a paper application, you will need to be added to the EASy system, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, to gain access to EASy. If you are unsure of your EASy access or have additional renewal questions, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
Access the EASy system HERE.
-Even if you have submitted your renewal training hours, your Endorsement will not be current unless you also have an updated membership.
-All renewal dates will be moved to a calendar year; with all renewal hours due by December 31st of each year. For example, if you earned your Endorsement in March of 2020, your renewal hours will not be due until December of 2021.
If your membership is not up to date, you can renew it HERE.
