What’s in Your Sensory Toolbox?

February 22 | 12:30 PM

Navigating sensory meltdowns with children with ASD and SPD can be difficult as professionals. Let’s face it, it’s tough to see the kids in our care not be able to control the way they feel. However, when we have the right tools in our sensory toolbox we are better able to regulate ourselves and the children we serve.

** Each participant is encouraged to bring items to the connections corner to discuss: 1 item that helps keep you calm during your interactions with children’s families, and 1 item that helps keep the children you serve calm during meltdowns.**
