PAR, Inc., Golf Tournament Supports First3Years

Katy Reis, Assistant Property Manager and Special Projects Coordinator for PAR, Inc.

The 2nd annual Property Advisers Realty, Inc., Golf Tournament benefiting First3Years is Monday, October 3, at Timarron Country Club in Southlake. Thanks to a great relationship with PAR, Inc., and their belief in the importance of quality care for young children, First3Years is able to do more to educate, advocate, and collaborate to advance the healthy development of infants and toddlers.

Katy Reis, Assistant Property Manager and Special Projects Coordinator for PAR, Inc., recently shared her thoughts on giving back to the community.

Can you describe your role at Property Advisers Realty, Inc.?

I have two roles. I’m an Assistant Property Manager, which means serving as landlord for our commercial properties. I’m also Special Projects Coordinator, which means I organize marketing events and investor meetings, company events, and our annual golf tournament. I design marketing materials to give to clients, too. Before coming to PAR, I studied Communications at TCU, which has been helpful for communicating with tenants and vendors.

How would you define PAR, Inc.’s, approach to community engagement and support?

My dad Jerry Reis, CEO of PAR, Inc., put it best: “It’s about the three Fs: family, faith, and finances.” He believes all three are important. Only you personally can decide which comes first, but without all three, it’s hard to be successful in life.

I believe in giving back to the community. I think it’s really important to have raised thousands of dollars for important causes like we did for First3Years last year. I’m also involved with Catholic Charities as a member, and get to experience different events with them every few months, visit assisted living places, and network.

Why should people come out to play and support the 2016 PAR, Inc., Golf Tournament?

First of all, PAR is pleased to sponsor First3Years as our charity of choice. Unlike most charity golf tournaments, PAR takes care of all the expenses, so every dollar supports the great cause and work of First3Years. The more players and donors that donate, the more kids they can help!
